All of the points you made were valid. We still get weather anomalies, even in Missouri. The middle of Nowhere still gets affected by global warming.

and abby,

don't go saying stuff like "i don't care cause hurricanes only hit people on the coast" cause we still get the wheather from it. Plus, global warming will spawn more and stronger storms which can spawn tornados.

also,

i know that the world goes through periods in which it's teperatures rise and fall globaly. the thing is, human activity is greatly speeding it up, and i don't know about you, but i prefer the earth to stay as normal as long as it possibly can.

and btw...more technolgy means more factories, which means more crap in the landfills cause your constantly having to upgrade.

Sorry, Abby, nothing against you, but I really don't like that kind of talk. Is it okay if we agree to disagree? Or we could argue some more, which I think is always a fun and educational experience. Arianna could make a forum where we can settle conflicts like this.

So what if there is less technology? America is fat enough as it is without more crap to depend on. And the record snow falls? That's because theres more water in the atmosphere from melting polar ice caps. Not only is there more liquid water now, but also, the extra warmth make the water in the oceans expand a surprizing amount. How would you like to see Venice underwater? And its not only polar bears, its a whole bunch of Arctic and Antarctic life that's at risk of going extinct! More hurricanes are sure to happen in this comming up spring than usual, and they'll be stronger too! Its pretty much proven that Global Warming exists, and people who don't believe in it are just people who don't want to change their comfortable daily lifestyles! People like that just get under my skin! ARRRGH!

All that global warming talk is utter crap. The world isn't gonna blow up or whatever. If global warming is true, how come we've had record snow fall this winter? Seriously, does that even make sense? Oh boo hoo, the polar ice caps are melting. We've got plently of ice in our freezer, who needs it? I honestly don't give a flaming crap about polar bears and the naught, they just take up space. It's time to think BIG! Less factories=less technology, so there!
